Brand-new high-definition cameras will capture all the live action from the 2400m Standard Chartered Champions & Chater Cup

Sha Tin Racecourse is a world-class, integrated horse-racing facility that boasts one of the world's finest turf courses. From 1000m straights to 2400m races, the track has played host to many of the region's most famous racing events. The Standard Chartered Champions & Chater Cup coming up on May 27 is one of the best-known 2400m Hong Kong group races held here each season.

Live racetrack action is transmitted onto the big screen.
As the must-watch finale of the season, the Standard Chartered Champions & Chater Cup attracts avid participation from all of Hong Kong's top stayers. From start to finish, the journey circles the turf track for one-and-a-quarter lengths. To give fans the best view of all runners' positions throughout the journey, the Club has fitted more than 10 brand-new high-definition cameras to capture the thrilling action live from every angle. The footage is transmitted straight to the massive on-course screen as well as your TV at home, and will be broadcast live all over the world via satellite.

An incredible amount of resources and manpower are involved in bringing you such peerless and all-round coverage. To shoot all the activities held in the Parade Ring, the post-racing award ceremony, and elsewhere on course, more than 30 high-definition cameras in all are set up ready to carry out their missions, so you will not miss a single piece of action as this special raceday unfolds.
