BREC offers Members the best in Equestrian facilities in Hong Kong with expert levels of tuition in all equestrian disciplines. Recognised by the British Horse Society (BHS) as an approved Riding, Livery and Exam Centre, BREC has the facilities to support riders of all levels – from beginners who wish to start riding to experienced riders who wish to train further. Tuition by internationally-accredited instructors is available daily in one-on-one and group lessons. More advanced riders can participate in the more challenging dressage, show jumping, and cross-country classes. These take place in one of the many arenas which are a lasting legacy of the 2008 Olympic Games, including a large indoor paddock, the purpose-built competition paddock, or out on the cross-country course that caters for both novice and experienced riders.
For experienced riders, livery is also available on request with one of our retrained retired racehorses. These horses have so much to give to riders who want to experience owning their own horse and the daily joy of bonding with a horse and learning together. Before horses are taken on livery, rigid assessments of horses and riders are carried out to ensure that the best match is made.
The Centre operates 6 days a week (Tuesday to Sunday), and also hosts shows through most weekends between September and June. Services provided including group lessons, semi private lessons, private lessons, pony rides, pony parties, mini ponies photo taking, stable tours, stable management lessons and courses, BHS training and exams, and lecture demonstrations and clinics.
