One of the five founding wineries of Margaret River, Leeuwin Estate is an integral part of Australian wine history. In 1972, aided by Robert Mondavi of Napa Valley fame, Denis and Tricia Horgan turned their cattle farm into a vineyard. The first commercial vintage in 1979 was followed by the 1980 Art Series Chardonnay which received Decanter magazine’s highest approval rating.

The family-owned estate continues to win award after award, especially the Art Series wines, with labels designed by contemporary Australian artists. Six of these will be served: the 2005 and 2012 Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2004 and 2012 Art Series Chardonnay, the 2014 Art Series Sauvignon Blanc and the 2012 Art Series Shiraz.

Estate owner Denis Horgan will be on hand to introduce the featured wines. While enjoying the wine and food, Members will better understand the original Margaret River style of wines.
