The original Glenfiddich distillery was built in 1886 by William Grant and is still owned and managed by descendants of the founder.
Glenfiddich’s iconic triangular bottles contain the best-selling single malt in the world, and this exceptional dinner will pair six different expressions with a specially created Chinese fine dining menu.
Matthew Fergusson-Stewart, William Grant & Sons’ Asia Pacific Brand Ambassador for Southeast Asia and a highly experienced whisky educator, will be at the dinner to introduce the whiskies.
Members will proceed from the classic 12 Year Old to the warm, spicy 15 Year Old, the first whisky of that age to enter the top 10 of the world’s best-selling single malts.
The 18 Year Old is known for its robust fruitiness, while the 21 Year Old derives some of its distinctive character from being finished in premium Caribbean rum casks.
Exotically spicy Glenfiddich Excellence 26 Year Old has spent all those years in American oak ex-Bourbon casks, while Glenfiddich 30 Year Old is remarkable for its sherried dark chocolate flavours, derived from Spanish Oloroso and American ex-bourbon oak.
Early reservations are advised for members wishing to experience these widely acclaimed fine spirits.
