The Macallan and Highland Park Whisky Dinner
The Gold Standard of Single Malts

The Macallan is the Speyside single malt whisky regarded by many as the ultimate expression of single malt whisky. Owned by the Edrington Group, it has been distilled since 1824 at Craigellachie.

A special pairing dinner at Oi Suen on 13 January will give Members a rare opportunity to taste no fewer than eight different expressions of this classic malt. Included is the ultra rare Macallan Decanter No. 6, the colour of a Spanish sunset in its Lalique decanter, is as sumptuous as a rich fruit cake, with masses of dried fruit, gourmand flavours and spices.

Stephen Mack, CEO of Asia Wine Service and Education Centre, will introduce the whiskies which include 12 and 18 Year Olds, in fine oak and old sherry oak, with flavour clouds that in the case of The Macallan 25 Year Old Fine Oak include peat, sultana, vanilla, wood spice, lemon and peach.

Completing an exceptional experience are the 21 and 30 Year Old Single Malts from the legendary Highland Park, also owned by Edrington Group.
