Vigilance when Using Club Facilities (issued Sunday, 22 November)
The COVID-19 pandemic situation is escalating significantly with the rapid increase in number of reported cases in the past few days.
We appeal to all Members to demonstrate concern for the health and safety of our Members, guests and employees by not using Club facilities if they have accessed any of the recent venues of transmission as reported by the government such as the Starlight Dance Club or come into proximity to any of the persons who had visited any of such venues. This includes living in the same buildings as the persons concerned. A list of these buildings is attached here for ease of reference: https://www.chp.gov.hk/files/pdf/building_list_eng.pdf
Further, the government announced today that it has published a compulsory testing notice to require any person who had accessed the 14 specified dance premises to undergo a COVID-19 test by 24 November 2020, then report the result to the Government by 27 November 2020.
To reduce transmission risk, such persons are advised to stay at home and avoid going out when waiting for test results. Please refer to the attached links for more information:
Members are also reminded to strictly adhere to all the vigilance measures in place at our Club facilities such as wearing of face masks at all times (except when dining, exercising or showering), using the hand sanitisers and towelettes provided, observing all social distancing guidelines, undergoing temperature checks and completing the declaration forms.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
