Update on COVID-19 Measures (issued 30 July)

Further to the latest government announcement earlier today, we are pleased to resume our daytime dine-in services at the Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse as follows:

Effective Friday, 31 July (unless otherwise stated)

  • Happy Valley Clubhouse: Six Furlong (7:00am to 6:00pm), The Gallop (12:00nn-2:30pm), Derby Restaurant will re-open on Saturday, 1 August (12:00nn-2:30pm); The Fortune Room, Six Furlong Express Derby Bar and Snack Bar remain closed
  • Sha Tin Clubhouse: The Ladies’ Purse (7:00am to 6:00pm), Oi Suen (12:00-2:30pm)
  • Beas River Country Club: Old Clubhouse (7:00am to 6:00pm)
  • Happy Valley Racecourse: Moon Koon and Hong Kong Kitchen (12:00nn-2:30pm)

In line with the revised social distancing measures, kindly note that only a maximum of 2 persons are permitted to be seated at each table and all restaurants will operate at only 50% of their usual capacity.

Take-away services will continue to be provided by the outlets underlined above until 8:30pm (last order) each day. Members may refer to the menus here <click>. We recommend that Members call to place their orders in advance. Although the car parks at ALL Clubhouses will close at 6:30pm daily, Members who order take-away may temporarily park their cars outside the main entrances to pick up their orders from the collection counters.

Please also be reminded that the closure of the other facilities as announced on 14 July such as Gym, Swimming Pool, Changing Room, Steam and Sauna Suites, Massage Rooms, Tennis Basketball and Multi-Purpose Courts, Children Facilities (indoor and outdoor), Reading, Billiard, Card and Entertainment Rooms, LEVADE and Wine Take-away Counters at ALL Clubhouses as well as the Chalets, Members’ Garden and Bicycle Trail at Beas River Country Club remain in place until further notice. All banqueting events are also cancelled.

Other vigilance measures implemented previously such as temperature screening, completing the Health Declaration Form and wearing of face masks (except when dining), maintaining space of at least 1.5 meters in between tables in dining outlets will still be enforced.
