Further Relaxation of COVID-19 Measures (issued 3 September)
Pursuant to the latest government announcement, we are pleased to re-open the following Clubhouse facilities with effect from Friday, 4 September:
Other facilities such as the Tennis Courts, Golf Short Game Area (at Happy Valley Clubhouse Sports Complex), Bicycle Trail and Members’ Garden (at Beas River Country Club) have already re-opened since last Friday, 28 August.
In regard to dine-in services, the operating hours at all restaurants in the Clubhouses and the Happy Valley Racecourse will be extended up to 10pm daily. For your convenience, you may find the full details of the outlets in operation and their respective operating hours here <click>.
In line with the prevailing social distancing measures, kindly note that only a maximum of 2 persons are permitted to be seated at each table and all restaurants will operate at only 50% of their usual capacity.
Take-away services will continue to be provided until 8:30pm (last order) each day. Members may refer to the menus here <click>. We recommend that Members call to place their orders in advance. Members who order take-away may temporarily park their cars outside the main entrances to pick up their orders from the collection counters.
The facilities which remain closed are all Bar outlets, Swimming Pools, Basketball and Squash Courts, non-Gym Activity Studios, Steam and Sauna Suites, Children Facilities (indoor and outdoor), Card and Entertainment Rooms. Large-scale banqueting events are also cancelled.
Members are reminded that social distancing measures will be applied at the Gyms, Studios, Sports Courts, Changing and Shower Facilities. Other mandatory vigilance measures implemented previously such as temperature screening, completing the Health Declaration Form and wearing of face masks in ALL areas of the Clubhouses and the Happy Valley Racecourse (except when dining, showering and engaging in outdoor activities), maintaining space of at least 1.5 meters in between tables in dining will still be enforced.
For Members’ convenience, they could make use of the e-Declaration Form found here https://cc.hkjc.com/ClubhouseForm.
The Club will continue to observe the stringent standards and high frequencies of cleaning and sanitation as mandated. Please continue to refer to this website for updates. For further enquiries, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1812 (9am to 6pm).
We look forward very much to welcoming you back.
