Preliminary Positive Employee Case at Happy Valley Clubhouse (issued Saturday, 14 May)

We would like to inform Members that we have received a report from an employee that his COVID -19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) done before reporting for duty this morning, Saturday, 14 May, has returned positive.

The concerned employee was on duty in Happy Valley Clubhouse Centenary Room between 12pm – 4pm & 4:30pm – 10pm and The Crest between 11am – 12pm & 4pm – 4:30pm on Friday, 13 May. It should be noted that the employee, who has received three doses of COVID vaccine has taken Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) test with negative result on Friday, 13 May before reporting for duty. He has been arranged for a PCR test today and is currently under self-isolation.

Members who had interaction with the concerned employee in Centenary Room on Friday, 13 May will be contacted by our Clubhouse team. We advise Members who visited the Crest and Centenary Room on the aforesaid date to go for testing if they are concerned about their health.

The deep cleansing to the outlets has been carried out. Other staff who worked in the same outlets on 13 May have been arranged for the PCR test and are under self-isolation. They will not be arranged for duty until negative results are returned.
