Preliminary Positive Cases at Happy Valley Old Clubhouse and Beas River Country Club / Closure of The Old Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar (issued Friday, 17 June)

We would like to inform Members that we have received reports today from a guest that her COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) done on today Friday, 17 June and from an employee that her COVID-19 PCR Test done yesterday Thursday, 16 June, have returned positive.

The guest concerned last visited Hilltop Paddock in Happy Valley Old Clubhouse from 7:14pm – 8:45pm on Wednesday, 15 June.

The employee concerned was recently on duty in The Old Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar at Beas River Country Club between 9am – 6pm on Tuesday, 14 June and Wednesday, 15 June. It should be noted that the employee, who has received three doses of COVID vaccine has taken Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) test with negative results on 14 and 15 June before reporting for duty. She works in the kitchen and did not have any interaction with the Members. As a precautionary measure, The Old Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar will close temporarily with effect from today, Friday, 17 June. All dining facilities in Beas River Country Club are currently closed and we will further apprise Members about the reopening date.

Members who were in close proximity with the guest concerned on 15 June will be contacted by our Clubhouse team. We advise Members who visited the Hilltop Paddock and The Old Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar on the aforesaid dates to go for testing if they are concerned about their health.
