Preliminary Positive Cases at Happy Valley Racecourse (Non-Raceday), Happy Valley Clubhouse and Sports Complex (issued Wednesday, 3 August)

We have received reports from four Members that their COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) done on Tuesday, 2 August and Wednesday, 3 August respectively, had returned positive.

The first Member case in Happy Valley Racecourse and Happy Valley New Clubhouse

The first Member concerned recently visited Happy Valley Racecourse and Happy Valley New Clubhouse on Sunday, 31 July. She does Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) on daily basis and only returned positive on 2 August. Details are as follows:

  • Visited Moon Koon Restaurant in Happy Valley Racecourse from 2pm – 3pm;
  • Visited The Rock in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 5:30pm – 6:57pm;
  • Visited 5/F Female Changing Room in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 7:04pm – 7:21pm;
  • Visited Valley Gym in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 7:21pm – 8:28pm;
  • Visited 5/F Female Changing Room in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 8:28pm – 8:34pm.

The second Member case in Happy Valley Clubhouse

The second Member concerned recently visited Happy Valley Clubhouse from 10:50am – 12:10noon on Monday, 1 August and from 10:02am – 1:11pm on Tuesday, 2 August. He does Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) on daily basis and only returned positive on 3 August. Details are as follows:

Happy Valley New Clubhouse on Monday, 1 August:

  • Visited 2/F Male Changing Room from 10:50am – 10:55am;
  • Visited Valley Pool from 10:58am – 11:48am;
  • Visited 2/F Male Changing Room from 11:48am – 12:10noon.

Happy Valley Clubhouse on Tuesday, 2 August:

  • Visited 2/F Male Changing Room in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 10:02am – 10:08am;
  • Visited Valley Pool in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 10:14am – 10:53am;
  • Visited 2/F Male Changing Room in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 10:53am – 11:25am;
  • Visited Six Furlong in Happy Valley Old Clubhouse from 12noon – 1:11pm.

The third Member case in Happy Valley Clubhouse

The third Member concerned recently visited Happy Valley Clubhouse from 8:53am – 12:22noon on Monday, 1 August and from 9:22am – 1:11pm on Tuesday, 2 August. She does Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) on daily basis and only returned positive on 3 August. Details are as follows:

Happy Valley New Clubhouse on Monday, 1 August:

  • Visited 5/F Female Changing Room from 8:53am – 9:02am;
  • Visited Valley Gym from 9:02am – 10:07am;
  • Visited 5/F Female Changing Room from 10:27am – 10:48am;
  • Visited Valley Gym from 10:48am – 11:45am;
  • Visited 5/F Female Changing Room from 11:45am – 12:22noon.

Happy Valley Clubhouse on Tuesday, 2 August:

  • Visited 5/F Female Changing Room in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 9:22am – 9:30am;
  • Visited Valley Gym in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 9:30am – 11:30am;
  • Visited 5/F Female Changing Room in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 11:30am – 12:09noon;
  • Visited Six Furlong in Happy Valley Old Clubhouse from 12:30noon – 1:11pm.

The fourth Member case in Sports Complex and Happy Valley New Clubhouse

The fourth Member concerned recently visited Sports Complex and Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 5:58pm – 8:24pm on Monday, 1 August. He did Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) on 1, 2 and 3 August and only returned positive on 3 August. Details are as follows:

  • Visited Tennis Court No.4 in the Sports Complex from 5:58pm – 7pm;
  • Visited 2/F Male Changing Room in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 7:08pm – 7:14pm;
  • Visited Valley Pool in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 7:14pm – 8:03pm;
  • Visited 2/F Male Changing Room in Happy Valley New Clubhouse from 8:03pm – 8:24pm.

The deep cleansing to the venues has been carried out. We advise Members who visited Moon Koon Restaurant in Happy Valley Racecourse, The Rock, Valley Pool, Valley Gym, 2/F Male Changing Room, 5/F Female Changing Room, Six Furlong in Happy Valley Clubhouse and Tennis Court No.4 in Sports Complex on the aforesaid dates to go for testing if they are concerned about their health.
