Temporary Closure of the Outdoor Swimming Pool at Happy Valley Old Clubhouse (issued Monday, 7 October)

We would like to inform Members that the Outdoor Swimming Pool at Happy Valley Old Clubhouse has been temporarily closed today, Monday, 7 October, for immediate sanitisation due to the water quality being out of our strict range.

We expect the sanitisation and follow up testing to take approximately 10 days and will keep Members advised of the re-opening date.

Meantime as an additional precautionary measure we will conduct quality testing on the Indoor Pool further to it’s annual maintenance period and expect it’s reopening to be delayed by approximately 7 days until 26 October. Again, we will keep Members advised of the re-opening date.

Kindly note that the Old Clubhouse Changing Rooms, Sauna, Steam and Outdoor Vitality Pool remain open. Members are invited to use the Valley Pool at the New Clubhouse for swimming.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The health and safety of our Members and colleagues is of paramount importance to the Club.
