List of Bloodstock Agents
To assist the Owners, the Club maintains and publishes from time to time a non-exhaustive list of bloodstock agents in major racing jurisdictions that Owners may engage for purchase of horses.
The Club has invited all bloodstock agents which wish to be included in the Club’s list to sign an undertaking to agree to abide by the Club’s Bloodstock Code of Practice (the “Code of Practice”) which sets out the conduct expected of bloodstock agents when assisting Owners to purchase horses. The giving of such undertaking is entirely voluntary. Bloodstock agents which have signed the undertaking are listed in Section A and Bloodstock agents which have not signed the undertaking are listed in Section B.
The list is published for Owners’ information only. Owners are free to engage bloodstock agents that are not on the Club’s list. The Club however reserves the right to reject any application for importation if it is in the Club’s opinion that the purchase of the horse fails to comply with the requirements under the Code of Practice.
Please note that the inclusion of any bloodstock agent in the List does not imply any official recommendation and/or assurance of the quality of such bloodstock agent on the part of the Club. The engagement of any bloodstock agent is entirely a matter between the particular Owner and the bloodstock agent, and the Club is not responsible for any issue or dispute arising from such engagement.
