10 To Follow: April 2021 Summary

Nader clings to a slender lead

William Nader continues to set the pace and clings to a narrow lead in our competition after another excellent month. His winning strike rate of 42.6% is superior to that of his five rivals after delivering four winners and three placings from 11 starters in April. Nader’s stable oozed quality – G1 winners Golden Sixty (金鎗六十) and Wellington (福逸), as well as emerging sprint powerhouse Courier Wonder (速遞奇兵), who posted two wins. Nader’s runners earned a competition-high of HK$301.60 for the month. Meanwhile, broadcaster Andrew Le Jeune sits second with a win strike rate of 41.1% after his 11 starters returned three wins and three placings. Courier Wonder’s two wins and Wellington’s Chairman’s Sprint Prize triumph led the way for Le Jeune, who added HK$219.60 to his tally. Simon Leung is third overall with a win strike rate of 40.3% after also selecting Golden Sixty, Wellington and Courier Wonder for a return of HK$293.10 in April. Race-caller Mark McNamara is fourth with a strike rate of 36.4% after his 11 starters produced three winners – Courier Wonder (twice) and Wellington – for a haul of HK$222.10. Roland Choi is fifth at 34.6% after a strong April campaign netted Courier Wonder and Golden Sixty as winners and four minor placings for a gain of HK$234.10. Expert analyst Jenny Chapman has a 30% strike rate after her nine starters yielded two winners, both thanks to Courier Wonder, and two placings for a return of HK$98.60.
