Glenburgie is a historic Speyside Scotch whisky distillery established in 1829, and recognised as among the region’s foremost.
Having taken advantage of a rare opportunity to acquire 226 bottles of 20-year-old Glenburgie matured by Gordon & MacPhail in a single refill bourbon cask, numbered 8576, the Club is now making them available to Members.
This spirit, distilled in 1997 and judged by Gordon & MacPhail to be ready for bottling in May of this year, is a complex, satisfying, straw coloured malt to be savoured at leisure.
Housed in a polished wood presentation case, each crystal decanter comes with its own metal decanter label, which the Club will arrange to have engraved according to Members’ instructions. The limited number of decanters, priced at HK$4,888, is expected to sell out quickly, and early orders are advised.
