The Hong Kong Jockey Club, established in 1884, oversees aspects of racing and wagering and offers world-class dining and social facilities for the Club's Members. Our investment in infrastructure ensures top-notch racecourses, training, and veterinary services. The Club raised prize money by nearly 100% over the last decade to a record HK$1.73 billion this year, showcasing Hong Kong racing's success. In order to support our Owners, the Club is investing HK$140 million to reduce livery charges and export costs for retired horses.

A total of 460 horse import permits, including 120 PP (Privately Purchased Horse) and 340 PPG (Privately Purchased Griffin), will be issued at the forthcoming 2025 Horse Ballot.
