The Club confirms that an employee of a fit-out contractor for the changing rooms of our New Clubhouse was tested positive for Covid-19 on 13 November. (issued Sat, 14 Nov)

The said person last visited the New Clubhouse to inspect the 2/F and 5/F changing rooms during the late hours of the night on 2, 6 and 9 November for around 40 minutes (11.05pm to 11.45pm), just under two hours (10.00pm to 11.50pm) and just under one hour (11.10pm to 12.05am) respectively. The contractor employee has logged, passed temperature screening and worn a face mask throughout the entire duration of the visits. There was no Member in the vicinity on 2, 6 November and a limited number of Members (4 persons) in the vicinity of the 2/F male changing room on 9 November who are being contacted for further information and assistance. Those Club employees who have had any kind of contact with the concerned person will be arranged for Covid-19 testing and self-isolation in the interest of caution.

Furthermore, the Clubhouse, which is being treated with Zoono surface shield for ongoing protection, has been further sanitised in addition to the regular cleansing and sterilisation every night. The clubhouse will remain in operation.
