COVID-19 Vigilance Measures: Revised Operating Mode at Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse Non-race Day Dining Outlets (issued 30 November)
In view of the increasing COVID-19 threat with the high number of local transmissions, the Club will be implementing a staggered work schedule for our staff at the Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse non-race day dining outlets. Such an arrangement is necessary to mitigate against the risks of cross-infection in the event there are confirmed staff or Member cases.
The deployment approach means that our staff will be divided into two teams and rostered to work on alternate dates to avoid close contact. As such, kindly note the following changes to the respective Clubhouse and Happy Valley Racecourse (non-race day) operation which will take effect from Wednesday, 2 December until further notice:
Also, in accordance with the latest government directive, all dining outlets are limited to 2 persons per table and will close at 10pm.
We take this opportunity to remind Members that only family members are permitted as guests at all facilities until further notice.
As announced previously, Members or their guests should not use any Club facilities if they live in the same buildings as any confirmed cases as announced by the Government or have been in contact with confirmed COVID-19 patients. For Members’ convenience, they could make use of the revised e-Declaration Form here https://cc.hkjc.com/ClubhouseForm.
We would like to apologise to Members for any inconvenience caused. We also hope to count on Members’ understanding that there might be delays in processing any service request such as processing of forms during this period due to the alternative work arrangements.
Please continue to refer to this website for further updates. For further enquiries, please write to us at membership@hkjc.org.hk or call 1812 (9am to 6pm).
