Update on COVID-19 Vigilance Measures (Tuesday, 24 March)
Following the Government’s latest announcement to introduce further measures aiming to promote social distancing and prevent viral transmission by close contact, the Club will be taking further precautionary measures with effect from tomorrow, Wednesday, 25 March as follows:
· Happy Valley Clubhouse: complete closure of all Recreation facilities including Changing Rooms
· Sha Tin Clubhouse: complete closure of all Recreation facilities including Changing Rooms
· Beas River: closure of all Recreation facilities except bicycle rides at Members’ Garden
In addition, all large-scale banquets (including weddings) will be cancelled. Members who have made bookings for such events will be contacted for necessary arrangements.
All dining outlets (except Food Plaza and Snack Bar at Happy Valley Clubhouse) remain open. Members are also welcome to order take-away.
The above measures will be implemented until Tuesday, 7 April (inclusive). The Club will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and adjust the measures as required.
Whilst these latest measures may cause inconvenience to Members and guests, please do understand that they have to be taken so as to reduce social and leisure activities and mitigate the increasing threat of transmission. This unprecedented situation requires us to take extraordinary precautions. We hope to count on your support during this challenging period.
