Update on Declaration Form – Friday, 22 May

The Club has implemented stringent precautionary measures for the protection of its Members, customers and employees at the Racecourses and Clubhouses since the COVID-19 outbreak in late January.

At race meetings, currently only limited groups of customers such as horse owners, Members and their accompanying guests are admitted to the Racecourses.  Further, in accordance with the relevant directive issued by the Government to the Club under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation (Cap. 599G), precautionary measures against the COVID-19 pandemic must be implemented, including the mandatory wearing of face masks, temperature screening and submission of the health & travel declaration forms.  No person who has been out of Hong Kong within 14 days prior to the date of visit shall be admitted.  Our Clubhouses have also implemented similar measures for the safety and wellbeing of our Members and staff.

With effect from Monday, 25 May, individuals who have traveled outside of Hong Kong within 14 days prior to the date of visit but are exempted by the HKSAR Government from compulsory quarantine can access the Racecourses, Clubhouses and other Club facilities subject to compliance with the on-site precautionary measures.  This also applies to those who have been in close contact with any person who have travelled outside Hong Kong within 14 days from the date of visit but are exempted by the HKSAR Government from compulsory quarantine.   Items 2 and 3 of the declaration form have been amended accordingly.  A copy of the revised form can be found <here>.

Members are reminded that admission to Club facilities is subject to compliance with the above precautionary measures. Members shall ensure that they and their guests comply with such measures and are responsible for the actions of their guests.
