Update on Trio and Opening of Hilltop Paddock (issued Friday, 3 December)

We are pleased to inform Members that Trio restaurant at Happy Valley New Clubhouse will commence its operation to 6 days a week with effect from 16 December to meet Members’ demand as previously communicated. It will be open for lunch and dinner throughout the week, except Wednesdays. We remain committed to operating Trio as a 7-day outlet once the additional colleagues required come on board and will provide another update in the new year.

Further, a new dining outlet called Hilltop Paddock will open on 20 January on the 4/F of Happy Valley Old Clubhouse. Hilltop Paddock will serve popular comfort food at good value in a casual, relaxed self-service setting for all ages. With the launch of Hilltop Paddock, the temporary Six Furlong Express on the 3/F of the Racecourse’s Happy Valley Stand will cease its operation after 18 January. Aside from dining, the Children’s Outdoor Play Area on the same floor will open before Easter, followed by the launch of the Pool View Lounge area and Teenage Chill-out Room, together with the reopening of the Hilltop Gym and Pools next October.
