Recommencement of Selected Dining Facilities’ Operation at Clubhouses (issued Wednesday, 23 March)

We are pleased to inform Members the operation of selected dining facilities will recommence at the Happy Valley and Sha Tin clubhouses with limited menu selection, with effect from Monday, 28 March.

The details are as follows:

Happy Valley Clubhouse

  • Six Furlong:
    Breakfast (7am to 11am), Lunch (11am to 3pm) & Tea (3pm to 6pm)
  • Hilltop Paddock:
    (Weekdays) – Lunch (12nn to 2:30pm) & Tea (2:30pm to 6pm)
    (Weekends & Public Holidays) – Lunch (11am to 2:30pm) & Tea (2:30pm to 6pm)

Note: Takeaway services will be provided until 9pm in both Six Furlong and Hilltop Paddock, the last order is at 8:15pm.

Sha Tin Clubhouse

  • The Ladies’ Purse:
    Breakfast (7:30am to 11am) & Lunch (11am to 4pm)

Note: No takeaway services until further notice.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic situation is showing signs of abating, it remains severe. In recommencing operation, the Club will continue to place the health and safety of our Members and employees as the highest priority. Giving risk mitigation the utmost consideration, the dining venues selected are based on the availability of employees who have recovered from the virus.

In addition, we hope to count on Members cooperation to observe the following additional measures as part of risk mitigation:

  • Vaccine Pass requirements: Members and guests must have taken at least the first dose of any COVID-19 vaccine; maximum of 2 persons allowed to be seated at each table; must use the LeaveHomeSafe App and present QR code of their Vaccination Records at the entry to the Clubhouses and restaurants;
  • Guest Policy: Only Members and Direct Household members;
  • Reservations are required to access all the aforesaid dining venues (reservations can be made over the Members’ Mobile App or calling the outlets directly starting from 9am on Friday, 25 March);
  • For on-day reservations, they will be accepted up to 1 hour prior to the start of each meal period. Reservations can only be made up to Wednesday, 20 April and will only be accepted for the dining venues stated above.

We regret to inform Members that walk-ins will not be accommodated until further notice. Aside from the dining facilities mentioned above, ALL other Club facilities (except the Car parks at the Happy Valley Old Clubhouse and Sha Tin Clubhouse) will remain closed. This is the first step in the gradual resumption of services and Members may be assured we will continue to diligently monitor the situation and reopen more facilities in line with the Government’s announcement on 21 March 2022.
