Preliminary Positive Cases and Temporary Closure of The Derby Restaurant and Bar at Happy Valley Old Clubhouse (issued Monday, 11 July)

We have received reports from a Member and an employee that their COVID-19 PCR Tests done on Friday, 8 July and Sunday, 10 July respectively, had returned positive. As a precautionary measure, The Derby Restaurant and Bar at Happy Valley Old Clubhouse will cease operation with immediate effect from today, Monday, 11 July. Members with reservations will be contacted for alternative arrangements.

The Member concerned recently visited The Derby Restaurant at Happy Valley Old Clubhouse from 7pm – 10:30pm on Thursday, 7 July.

The employee concerned was recently on duty in The Derby Restaurant at Happy Valley Old Clubhouse for lunch and dinner periods from Thursday, 7 July to Saturday, 9 July and lunch period on Sunday, 10 July. He is a service staff and he had taken Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before reporting for duty on 7, 8, 9 and 10 July with negative results.

Members who were in close proximity to the Member and employee concerned on the aforesaid dates will be contacted by our Clubhouse team. We advise Members who visited The Derby Restaurant and Bar at Happy Valley Old Clubhouse on the aforesaid dates to go for testing if they are concerned about their health. We will further apprise Members about the reopening date.
