Preliminary Positive Case in Beas River Equestrian Centre (issued Tuesday, 2 August)

We would like to inform Members that an employee who works at BREC in the Livery Stables A&B has tested positive for COVID-19 through Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before work on Tuesday, 2 August. The staff member was last in the workplace on Sunday, 31 July.  Any staff in direct contact with the staff member have been isolated and we are contacting relevant affected members. 

The employee concerned tested negative via routine Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for COVID-19 on 31 July.

Disinfection of the affected areas has already taken place this morning, with further deep cleaning and fogging arranged for early this afternoon of 2 August.

Any Members who have concerns over their health are recommended to seek further testing.
