Preliminary Positive Employee Case and Temporary Closure of Oi Suen in Sha Tin Clubhouse (issued Sunday, 7 August)

We have received a report from an employee that his COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) done before reporting for duty today, Sunday, 7 August, has returned positive. As a precautionary measure, Oi Suen in Sha Tin Clubhouse will cease operation from 6pm today, Sunday, 7 August to Tuesday, 9 August (both dates inclusive). Members who have bookings in Oi Suen will be contacted for alternative arrangements.

The employee concerned is a kitchen staff and was recently on duty in Oi Suen on Friday, 5 August and Saturday, 6 August. He had taken Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) before reporting for duty on 5 and 6 August with negative results.

The deep cleansing to the venue has been carried out. We advise Members who visited Oi Suen in Sha Tin Clubhouse on the aforesaid dates to go for testing if they are concerned about their health.
