Preliminary Positive Cases and Temporary Closure of the Indoor Swimming Pool in Sha Tin Clubhouse (issued Wednesday, 10 August)

We have received reports from an employee and a guest that their COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) done today, Wednesday, 10 August, have returned positive. As a precautionary measure, the Indoor Swimming Pool in Sha Tin Clubhouse will cease operation from 7pm today, Wednesday, 10 August to Friday, 12 August (both dates inclusive). Members who have subscribed to the Swimming Classes in Sha Tin Clubhouse will be contacted for alternative arrangements.

The employee case in Sha Tin Clubhouse

The employee concerned was recently on duty in the Indoor Swimming Pool from 6:30am – 4:30pm on Tuesday, 9 August. He had taken Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before reporting for duty on 9 August with negative result.

The guest case in Sha Tin Clubhouse

The guest concerned recently visited The Ladies’ Purse from 7:11pm – 8:27pm on Monday, 8 August. He does Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) on daily basis and only returned positive on 10 August.

The deep cleansing to the venues has been carried out. We advise Members who visited the Indoor Swimming Pool and The Ladies’ Purse in Sha Tin Clubhouse on the aforesaid dates to go for testing if they are concerned about their health.
