Pre-Typhoon 8 Information (issued Wednesday, 24 August)

As the Hong Kong Observatory has announced that Typhoon 8 will be hoisted at or before 7:25pm, all Clubhouse facilities and the Happy Valley Racecourse (Non-raceday) restaurants will close their access to Members and guests from 6pm onwards. All Clubhouse facilities and Happy Valley Racecourse (Non-raceday) restaurants will remain closed when Typhoon 8 signal is in force. They will reopen within 2 hours if the signal is lowered within their normal operating hours with no “extreme condition”  announced by the government. All facilities will remain closed for the day if the Typhoon 8 or “extreme condition” remains in force by 5pm.
