Driving the green transition – Help us build a more sustainable future for Hong Kong (issued Wednesday, 28 December)

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, the Club makes every effort to incorporate environmentally sustainable practices into its daily operations while delivering a superb Membership experience. We are pleased to announce that the Club has already achieved a 20% reduction in paper orders since 2015 – ahead of our 2025 target. This is the equivalent of saving over 12.5 million sheets of paper.

This achievement has inspired us to aim even higher with our sustainability efforts. Since the Members’ Mobile App was launched, it has enabled us to provide a seamless, efficient and always-on service, making it easier and more convenient than ever for you to use our facilities. The app will continue to play an expanded role in future digital Membership communications. For example, starting in 2023, digital birthday communications will replace printed copies, so Members can enjoy their privileges while supporting our green mission. Furthermore, servicing SMS notifications and, where possible, posted mail communications will also be gradually replaced by email in 2023. Members will be further informed of the implementation details.
