Amendments to the Operational Rules at Beas River Equestrian Centre (issued Tuesday, 22 August)

The Club continuously pursues services excellence and we are committed to enhance our Members’ engagement at Beas River Equestrian Centre. Our top priority is to increase the lesson capacity to meet the needs of Members, our operational rules have been amended and will take effect from Friday, 1 September.

  • Cancellation Policy: The cancellation notice period will be extended from 48 hours to 72 hours. This will allow us to find suitable replacements for cancelled sessions and offer those slots to members on the waitlist. We encourage members to inform us in advance about extended periods away from BREC and we will make appropriate arrangements for coaches' absences as well.
  • Limitation on Lesson Bookings: Each member will be able to book a maximum of three sessions of private or semi-private lessons per week. However, there will be no limit on joining group lessons. This new protocol aims to provide fair and equal opportunities for all members while allowing us to utilise our resources efficiently. We are also in the process of recruiting two additional coaches and exploring the possibility of offering evening lessons to further accommodate the needs of members on the waitlist.
  • No Guests allowed to participate in Riding Lessons: To ensure members get their priority in accessing our resources, guests will no longer be able to participate in riding lessons on weekdays or weekends. This change ensures that our members can fully enjoy their privileges and opportunities. Members' adult children who wish to undertake lessons may contact the membership department to explore Racing Membership options.
  • Limitation on Schooling: Each livery horse will be limited to a maximum of three schooling sessions per week, with weekend schooling only being available in exceptional circumstances with prior management approval.
