The EV charger units can provide a maximum supply of 24 kW each. However, the charge speed is also subject to the input specifications of the EV battery.

The EV charging station / parking lot is available on a first-come-first-serve basis with queuing if needed.

7. What is the fee for EV charging?
The EV charging fee is HKD$30 per 30 minutes.
The service fee is calculated in 30-minute intervals. If the charging duration is less than 30 minutes, the charging fee for the full 30 minutes will still be charged.

9. How can the EV charger be activated / deactivated?
Members can activate or deactivate the EV charger by tapping the eligible Membership card.
10. How will Members be charged after using the EV charging facility?
After successful authentication and usage of the charging service, the charging service fee will be collected from the EV User by debiting Member’s Membership account. The fee is charged at a rate of HKD$30 per 30 minutes or part thereof (for example, 40 mins of charging will be calculated as 1 hour) and no refund will be made for early deactivation within the 30-minute interval. The charging service fee will stops accumulating once charging is complete or the EV is deactivated from the EV charging station.
11. Will there be any change for Members using EV charging facility during race meeting?
During on-course race meeting periods at Sha Tin Racecourse, complimentary charging is provided at P2 Sha Tin Clubhouse and P1 Sha Tin Racecourse Multi-level Car Park. However, in line with current practice, during on-course race meeting periods at Happy Valley Racecourse, the EV chargers at the Jockey Club Headquarters Car Park will not be available for use.
12. When will Members receive the receipt for EV charging service after use?
Members will receive an electronic receipt for their EV charging within 24 hours.
