We are pleased to inform Members that Derby Restaurant will operate under the Vaccine Bubble Type C mode ahead of schedule with effect from Tuesday, 13 July (instead of 15 July as previously announced). Also, The Racing Club restaurants (non-raceday) will be moving into Type C operating mode on Monday, 12 July.
The updated details of the outlets and respective timelines are as follows:
Members are reminded the following rules must be observed as mandated by the Government according to the different operating modes. Members or guests who fail to observe such rules will be denied access to the relevant premises and may be subject to disciplinary action:
1Type C Operation for Restaurants
- Maximum of 6 persons per table
- All Members and guests must scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” (“LHS”) QR Code for that particular outlet using the LHS mobile App, except for aged under 16 and 65 or above who are unable to use the LHS mobile App and they can fill out the prescribed FEHD form (click here for the form) to provide their particulars.
- Operate at 75% capacity
- For banquets, only a maximum number of 20 persons is permitted
2Type 1 Operation for Bars
- Maximum of 4 persons per table
- All Members and guests are required to have received at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and must present the QR Code evidencing their vaccination records for verification before seating
- All Members and guests must scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” (“LHS”) QR Code for that particular outlet using the LHS mobile App
- Operate at 75% capacity
3Type 1 Entertainment Rooms (Karaoke / Party Rooms)
- Maximum of 8 persons per room
- All Members and guests are required to have received at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and must present the QR Code evidencing their vaccination records for verification before seating
- All Members and guests must scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” (“LHS”) QR Code for that particular outlet using the LHS mobile App
- Operate at 75% capacity
4Type 1 Card / Mahjong Rooms
- Maximum of 4 persons per table
- All Members and guests must scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” (“LHS”) QR Code for that particular outlet using the LHS mobile App
- Operate at 75% capacity
Further, Members would also be happy to note that the swimming pools at the Clubhouses will increase their operating capacity to 50% (except the Happy Valley Old Clubhouse Pool and any leisure pool, children’s pool, toddlers’ pool and jacuzzi which remain closed).
