Recommencement of Additional Dining Facilities’ Operation (issued Monday, 11 April)

In light of the improving pandemic situation, Members will be pleased to note that additional dining facilities at the Happy Valley and Sha Tin Clubhouses will recommence operation with effect from this Friday, 15 April.

The details are as follows:

Happy Valley Clubhouse

  • The Derby Restaurant – Lunch: 12nn to 3pm

Sha Tin Clubhouse

  • Centurion Restaurant – Lunch: 12nn to 3pm
  • Bistro Canter – Lunch: 12nn to 3pm


The Club will continue to place the health and safety of our Members and employees as the highest priority. For this purpose, we hope to count on Members’ cooperation to observe the following measures:

  • Vaccine Pass requirements: Members and guests must have received at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine (and at least two doses from 30 April) in compliance with the Government’s Vaccine Pass requirement; must use the LeaveHomeSafe App and produce relevant proof of vaccination or exemption when entering the Clubhouses and individual restaurants;
  • Conditions of Entry: Members and guests may not use Club facilities if they fall within one of the conditions of the Conditions of Entry. The Conditions of Entry has been updated with effect from 1 April and the most updated version can be found <here>.
  • Guest Policy: Only Members and Direct Household members; maximum of 2 persons allowed to be seated at each table for dine-in;
  • Reservations are required to access all the aforesaid dining venues (reservations can be made over the Members’ Mobile App or calling the outlets directly starting from 9am on Wednesday, 13 April); for on-day reservations, they will be accepted up to 1 hour prior to the start of each meal period. Reservations can only be made up to Wednesday, 20 April and will only be accepted for the dining venues stated above. Each membership account may only book one table each time. We regret to inform Members that walk-ins will not be accommodated at these dining venues until further notice.

Given that the evolving pandemic situation may continue to affect our staff deployment and food supplies, kindly note that our menu selection at all the reopened restaurants may be modified or changed at short notice.

Members may expect to receive another update next week in respect of the other facilities which will reopen in line with the Government’s announcement on further relaxation released on 21 March 2022.
