Recommencement of Selected Facilities’ Operation in Beas River Country Club and Update on Sprinkles Operation in Happy Valley New Clubhouse (issued Monday, 25 April)

We are pleased to inform Members we will be recommencing the operation of selected dining and recreation facilities in Beas River Country Club with effect from Thursday, 28 April.

The bookings for the recreation facilities will open at 9am on Wednesday, 27 April, based on the prevailing policies. Reservations are not required for The Old Clubhouse Restaurant.

The details of the facilities reopening are as follows:

Beas River Country Club

Dining

  • The Old Clubhouse Restaurant

Retail

  • LEVADE

Recreation

  • All facilities except Swimming Pools, Sauna, Table Tennis Room and Gym.

Note: Table Tennis Room and Gym will reopen in early May.

The Chalets will remain closed until further notice for the purpose of preserving the Racing bubble.


As a reminder, The Parade in Happy Valley New Clubhouse will reopen on Wednesday, 27 April. In doing so, Sprinkles and The Epicurean will now open on the same days as The Parade from Wednesdays to Sundays (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Members may enjoy tea time food and beverages at Hilltop Paddock, Six Furlong, Snack Bar, The Rock and Stables Café. Cakes may be ordered at The Rock or Stables Café.

The Club will continue to place the health and safety of our Members and employees as the highest priority. For this purpose, we hope to count on Members’ cooperation to observe the following measures which have taken effect from Thursday, 21 April:

  • Vaccination and LeaveHomeSafe requirements: To better protect the health and safety of our Members and employees, all Members and guests aged 12 or above must have received two doses or more of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before the date of visit (which is earlier than the two-dose requirement under the Government’s Vaccine Pass direction with effect from 30 April), must use the LeaveHomeSafe App and produce relevant proof of vaccination or exemption when entering the Clubhouses and individual outlets;
  • Conditions of Entry: Members and guests may not use Club facilities if they fall within one of the conditions of the Conditions of Entry. The Conditions of Entry effective from 21 April can be found <here>.
  • Guest Policy: Members may bring non-Member guests;
  • Reservations: Each membership account may only book one table each time; maximum of 4 persons allowed to be seated at each table;
  • Operating Hours: Dining facilities will close at 9:59pm; Retail and Recreation facilities will observe normal operating hours;
  • Face Masks: Must be worn at all times when on Club premises, except when consuming food and beverages.


The indoor Children’s Playroom will restrict the number of users to 50% of the usual capacity.

Given that the evolving pandemic situation may continue to affect our staff deployment and food supplies, kindly note that our menu selection at all the reopened restaurants may be modified or changed at short notice.
