Guided Race Tour

Enjoy an exclusive insider's look at the races with our "Guided Race Tour" regularly on Sha Tin racedays.

Our Racing Specialist will be your personal guide, sharing expert insights by bringing you inside the Parade Ring to observe the racehorses up-close and get to know their form. You’ll then watch the race on the trackside and listen to Racing Specialist’s analysis on key race moments and tactics, leading you to read the races like a pro.

The tour may include a visit to a behind-the-scenes area where you can learn more about the workings behind our marquee races, or a Racing Academy class for unlocking racing know-how. This personalised, insider access will give you a new appreciation for the skills and sophistication of horse racing. You'll leave inspired and eager for your next day at the races.

  • Parade Ring and trackside
  • Race Caller Room Visit
    • Session 1: 2:10pm - 3:00pm (After Race 3)
    • Session 2: 4:15pm - 5:00pm (After Race 7)
28 September (Saturday)*
  • Parade Ring and trackside
  • Race Caller Room Visit
    • Session 1: 2:10pm - 3:00pm (After Race 3)
    • Session 2: 3:45pm - 4:30pm (After Race 6)

Price
Complimentary access for two per Membership account
  • Guest must be a Hong Kong Jockey Club Member
  • Participants must be aged 18 or above
Assembly Point
Signage opposite to Owners Service Counter, 1/F, Sha Tin Racecourse (Map)
Dress code
Minimum dress code:
  • Blazers/suit jackets over shirts, plain t-shirts or turtlenecks and long trousers
  • Dresses, blouses, skirts or long trousers
Unacceptable attire:
  • Ripped clothing, T-shirts, tracksuits, singlets, shorts, overalls, slippers, flip-flops and plastic footwear
Booking
1. Sign up on Members’ Mobile App.
2. After enrollment, Member can view the enrolment details via the Members’ Mobile App and will not receive a confirmation email.
Enquiries and cancellation

Cancellation deadline
Tour on 22 September: Cancel by 3:00pm, 18 September
Tour on 28 September: Cancel by 3:00pm, 24 September
*Cancellation charge equal to $200 per person will be applied if Member cancel after the deadline or no show.
Adverse weather arrangement
The event will not take place if the race meeting on the event date is cancelled, and the cancellation will not be charged to Members.
