Explore Life at the Stables and Farm

[The programme is available for Fun with Ponies subscribers only on a first-come, first-served basis. Please sign up via the Members’ Mobile App from 13 December]

Taking place in January and February, we invites kids to the Beas River Equestrian Centre, where they can watch a farrier shoe a horse and learn how to groom a pony from an equestrian coach. They can also learn about farm life and composting from the Jockey Club ‘Field So Good’ Community Composting Programme, then join one of three educational workshops: creating decorations from horseshoes, making traditional snacks from Hong Kong’s walled villages or picking fresh vegetables at a farm.

Terms and Condition
  • By enrolling and participating in the event, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. Participation in the event is subject to The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s rules, Bye-laws and the membership privileges of the respective membership category. The terms and conditions for the 2022/23 Fun with Ponies Programme shall apply to this event.
  • This event is open to 2022/23 Fun with Ponies Programme subscribers only.
  • The joining fee for each Participant of this event is HK$250 and non-refundable. All charges will be debited to the Principal Member’s membership account monthly once the enrollment is confirmed.
  • Each subscriber may secure one session of the Explore Life at the Stables and Farm event only. In case there are any repeated bookings, only the latest booking made will be confirmed where the previous booking will be cancelled automatically.
  • Reservation is subject to event quota and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Members successfully enrolled in the event will receive a confirmation email with the event details within 10 working days.
  • If the event is full, the enrolment will be put on a waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis according to the time of enrolment.
  • The Hong Kong Jockey Club may use images and videos of you and your guests taken during the event for promotional and/or record purposes. Such use includes the display, distributions, publications, transmissions or otherwise use of photographs, images and videos taken for use in materials that include, but may not be limited to, printed materials such as The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Members monthly magazine badges, Brochures, Newsletters, Videos and digital images used in The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Website and Social Media Pages, such as Facebook and for promotion of The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s future events.
  • The cancellation deadline is 3pm two days before the event date. For absence or cancellation after cancellation deadline, the joining fee of HK$250 will not be refunded.
  • The event will not take place if Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or higher, or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted or is in force two hours prior to the event.
  • The Club reserves the right to cancel or alter the event in view of any public health and safety directions (including but not limited to any directions, rules and policies related to COVID-19) of the Government and/or the Club, and may refuse any participants failing to comply with such directions from participating in the event without compensation.
  • The Hong Kong Jockey Club reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, and in case of any dispute, the decision by The Hong Kong Jockey Club shall be final. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
