Minimum Dress Code
Points to Note
- All-day booking
- Each Membership account may reserve one table or one private room.
- Minimum catering charge per person: HK$150 (except on major race meetings).
- No-show charge will be applied if actual number of patrons is less than seats reserved.
- Hourly booking
- Owners with starters may reserve a one-hour booking subject to the runner's race time from 45 minutes prior to the start of race to 15 minutes after the respective race.
- Each Owner with starter may reserve one table or a maximum of four individual bar seats.
- No minimum catering charge
- No show charge per person: HK$150
- Owners must accompany their guests (maximum 3 guests per Owner) in the Owners Pavilion throughout a race meeting
- Owners with starters have priority to reserve Owners Pavilion
- The minimum catering charge is subject to change
- During Happy Valley race meetings, each of the Owners with table reservations or Owners with starters will be offered one parking space each at the basement of the Headquarters Building. To reserve the parking space, simply register the car license number when making table reservations or call 1815 from 9:00am on the declaration day. For Owners with starters, you can call 1833328. Car park labels will be offered to Owners on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to space availability.
- The sharing table policy does not apply on all Owners Boxes. Each table at all Owners Boxes can be reserved under one Owner's account only.
- You must accompany your guests throughout a race meeting in the boxes / Owners Pavilion.
- You are required to sign for box / Owners Pavilion stickers for your guests at the reception counter. Your guests must wear the stickers prominently at all times during the race meeting. If you arrive before your guests, please leave the box stickers at the reception counter for your guests. Your guests will be asked to wait outside the box if you have not taken up your table.
- If you have not made any reservations, you may still take up a table as a walk-in, subject to availability. You can go to the reception counter of the box of your choice and register your name and membership number with the receptionist. You and your guests must comply with the dress standard of the box, in order to be eligible to take up a walk-in table in that box.
- You may also check table availability at the Badge Office at both racecourses, or call the Membership Services Hotlines.
- Any tables that are not occupied by the start of the third race will be allocated to walk-in Members according to the sequence of their registrations.
- A table check-in QR code will be placed on your reserved table. You or your spouse supplementary cardholder must sign in by scanning the QR code via Members' Mobile App to confirm your attendance.
- Reserved table is to be used by the Owner who has been allocated the table, which is non-transferrable.
- Reserved tables that are not occupied by the start of the third race will be allocated to walk-in Members according to the sequence of their registrations.

A no-show charge, equivalent to the minimum catering charge per table, will be debited to your membership account should you:
- cancel your reservation after the cancellation cut-off date and time
- fail to take up your table by the start of the third race
- The Smoking (Public Health) Ordinance (cap.371) was introduced from 1 January 2007. All indoor areas within the Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses are designated no smoking areas (including electronic cigarette). These areas include boxes, restaurants, betting lounges and halls, toilets, lift lobbies, staircases and escalators.
- Smoking (including electronic cigarette) is permitted in the open areas such as forecourts, Racecourse MTR concourse, balconies/terraces. However, the following areas are exceptions:
- Balcony near the entrance of MB7 Members Box 7/F (Winning Post), Members Stand II, Happy Valley Racecourse
- Designated area at Loges, Members Stand II, Happy Valley Racecourse
- Designated balcony at 6/F and 7/F, Members Stand I, Happy Valley Racecourse
- Designated area at Loges, Grandstand I, Sha Tin Racecourse

- Normal Races: $30 per seat
Hong Kong International Races: $60 per seat - Food and Beverage consumption not included

- Owners, by displaying their parking labels, may park at Grandstand II car park during Sha Tin race meetings.
