  • Voting Members and Owners have priority to reserve this box, which will be allocated 8 weeks prior to the race meeting. If there is no reservation from Voting Members and Owners, the box will be released to Members 8 weeks prior to the race meeting.
  • Reservation of private box will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Booking Cancellation
  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • Cancellations will incur a fee, which will be debited to your membership account.
Guests
  • You must accompany your guests throughout a race meeting in the boxes / Owners Pavilion.
  • You are required to sign for box / Owners Pavilion stickers for your guests at the reception counter. Your guests must wear the stickers prominently at all times during the race meeting. If you arrive before your guests, please leave the box stickers at the reception counter for your guests. Your guests will be asked to wait outside the box if you have not taken up your table.
No Smoking Arrangement
  • The amended Smoking (Public Health) Ordinance (cap.371) was introduced from 1 January 2007. All indoor areas within the Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses are designated no smoking areas. These areas include boxes, restaurants, betting lounges and halls, toilets, lift lobbies, staircases and escalators.
  • Smoking is permitted in the open areas such as forecourts, balconies/terraces. However, the following areas at Members Stands, Happy Valley are exceptions:
    • Balcony of 1/F Members Only Betting Lounge, Members Stand II
    • Balcony near the entrance of MB7 Members Box 7/F (Winning Post), Members Stand II
    • Designated balcony at 6/F and 7/F, Members Stand I

Points to Note
  • Owners can reserve Owners Box 3/F Private Room 1 - Room 3 on the first booking date. All Owners with starters on wait list have priority for room arrangement. Owners with starters for the specific races (Group One, Group Two and Four Year Old Classic Series) will have priority for room reservation on Date of Entries.
  • Rooms 1, 2 and 3 - Owners with starters have the priority to be allocated the rooms.
  • Room 4 and 5 - All Owners are eligible to reserve 8 weeks prior to the race meeting on a first-come, first-served basis. (Starting from December 2017)
  • Rooms 1, 4 and 5 - Owners are eligible to reserve 8 weeks prior to the night races at Sha Tin.
