  • Members may reserve the private boxes at Happy Valley or Sha Tin Racecourse.
  • Members may express interest in using the private boxes by calling 2966 8568 or 2966 5895, or e-mailing to banquet.rc@hkjc.org.hk.
  • Boxes require reservation and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis 4 weeks or 8 weeks prior to the race meeting.
Confirmation
  • The confirmation date of private boxes may vary.
  • Each successful applicant must confirm in writing to the Catering & Events Office and state whether or not the offer of a private box is accepted.
  • 30% deposit is required for Members' booking with minimum charge of $30,000 or above. Deposit will be waived for reservations less than $30,000. Only membership card will be accepted for deposit payment.
Booking Cancellation
  • Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees are shown below:

    Less than 7 working days before the confirmed race meeting 75% of ordered package price x guaranteed attendance or 75% of minimum food & beverage charge, whichever is higher
    On the event day 100% of ordered package price x guaranteed attendance or 100% of minimum food & beverage charge, whichever is higher
  • The right to use a private box is non-transferable. The private box may be used by the person who has been allocated the box and his / her guests only.
Guest Badges and Car Park Labels
  • Guest badges are available 10 days before the race meeting at the Members Services Centre, G/F Jockey Club Headquarters, 1 Sports Road, Happy Valley or the Reception Counter on the G/F of Sha Tin Clubhouse. Your representative is required to provide your private box race meeting package arrangement form.
  • The cost of the guest badges purchased will be debited to your membership account. Alternatively, the guest badges and car park labels can be sent by courier to your designated locations.
  • If you have reserved a private box at Sha Tin Racecourse, you may obtain car park labels at the time when you collect your guest badges.
Catering Services
  • All catering arrangements must be made through the Catering & Events Office by calling 2966 8568 / 2966 5895.
Settlement of Charges
  • Minimum catering charge for private boxes is required.
  • All outstanding charges must be settled on the day of the function.

  • Registered kids under 18 have to be accompanied with adults to enter the racecourse through Sha Tin Clubhouse.

  • Special package prices will apply to major race meetings.
Reservation Procedures
  • The function rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Voting Members and Owners have priority to reserve these rooms.
  • Reservations can be made 8 weeks in advance of a race meeting by calling 2966 6857 during office hours.
    • Mondays to Fridays: 9:00am to 6:00pm
    • Saturdays: 9:00am to 1:00pm
  • The reservation cut-off time is up to two working days before the race meeting.
  • You will receive a written confirmation from the Club for the reservations made.
