Reservation Procedures
- Members may reserve the private boxes at Happy Valley or Sha Tin Racecourse.
- Reservations of private boxes commence from two months prior to the race meeting.
- For enquiries, or if you are planning a VIP function that requires a longer lead-time, say three to six months, or a function that requires a bigger box, please call 2966 5895 for arrangement or e-mail to banquet.rc@hkjc.org.hk
Ballot
- If the demand for boxes exceeds the number of the boxes available, a ballot will be held on the closing day of applications. Successful applicants will be notified within seven days of the ballot.
Confirmation
- Each successful applicant must confirm in writing to the Catering & Events Office and state whether or not the offer of a private box is accepted. A deposit is required upon confirmation and can be paid by cheque, bank draft or debiting the amount to the Member's account. In the event of default, the Club will assume that the application has been withdrawn.
Booking Cancellation
- Cancellations must be made in writing.

- The right to use a private box is non-transferable. The private box may be used by the person who has been allocated the box and his / her guests only.
Guest Badges and Car Park Labels
- Guest badges are available 10 days before the race meeting at the Members Services Centre, G/F Jockey Club Headquarters, 1 Sports Road, Happy Valley or the Reception Counter on the G/F of Sha Tin Clubhouse. Your representative is required to provide your private box race meeting package arrangement form.
- The cost of the guest badges purchased will be debited to your Membership account. Alternatively, the admission badges can be sent by courier to your designated locations.
- If you have reserved a private box at Sha Tin Racecourse, you may obtain car park labels at the time when you collect your guest badges.
Catering Services
- All catering arrangements must be made through the Catering & Events Office by calling 2966 5895/ 2966 8196.
Settlement of Charges
- All outstanding charges must be settled on the day of the function.
