Allocation of Beas River Country Club’s Block B Chalets to Racing Employees (issued Wednesday, 26 January)

From 3 February until further notice, the 13 Chalets at Block B will be blocked for Racing department’s employees who are responsible for the cross-border horse movements. This is necessary to ensure that these employees avoid any contact with the general public arising from the stricter protocol imposed by the Guangzhou authorities on those whose duties involve regular cross-border movement.

The clubhouse management will be contacting Members with bookings to inform them on the alternative offers. The 15 Chalets at Block A  will remain accessible to Members. In this respect, Members may be assured there will be no disruption to the services they will enjoy during their stay.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience brought about by the limited Chalet availability. The Club’s diligence in sustaining horse racing in the interest of the community has been a source of pride amongst Members and has gained widespread praise. We hope to count on Members’ understanding that this measure is needed to mitigate risks and preserve the Racing Bubble so that horse racing can continue in this challenging time.
