Remarks
  • Owners with starters will have priority in reserving OB2 Owners Box 2/F. Certain amount of tables will also be reserved for the Owners with starters in Owners Box 3/F, 6/F and 7/F for reservation.
  • Owners can reserve tables on the first booking date. All Owners with starters on wait list will have priority for table arrangement. Furthermore, Owners with starters for the specific races (Group One, Group Two and Four Years Old Classic Series) will have priority for table reservation on Date of Entries.

Parking Arrangements
  • During Happy Valley race meetings, each of the Owners with table reservations or Owners with starters will be offered one parking space each at the basement of the Headquarters Building. To reserve the parking space, simply register the car license number when making table reservations or call 1815 from 9:00am on the declaration day. Car park labels will be offered to Owners on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to space availability.
Number of Tables Each Owner can Reserve / Minimum Catering Charge
  • Each Membership account is eligible to take up one table in one time only.
  • Subject to availability of tables, additional tables in the same box may be arranged after the first telephone booking day.
  • The minimum table size of Owners Box 2/F is 2 seats.
  • Minimum catering charge per table: HK$600 for a table for 4, HK$900 for a table for 6, and so on.(except major race meetings)
  • The minimum catering charge is subject to change.
Sharing of Table at the Boxes
  • The sharing table policy does not apply on all Owners Boxes. Each table at all Owners Boxes can be reserved under one Owner's account only.
Guests
  • You must accompany your guests throughout a race meeting in the boxes / Owners Pavilion.
  • You are required to sign for box / Owners Pavilion stickers for your guests at the reception counter. Your guests must wear the stickers prominently at all times during the race meeting. If you arrive before your guests, please leave the box stickers at the reception counter for your guests. Your guests will be asked to wait outside the box if you have not taken up your table.
Walk-In
  • If you have not made any reservations, you may still take up a table as a walk-in, subject to availability. You can go to the reception counter of the box of your choice and register your name and membership number with the receptionist. You and your guests must comply with the dress standard of the box, in order to be eligible to take up a walk-in table in that box.
  • You may also check table availability at the Badge Office, Members Main Entrance of both racecourses, or call the Membership Services Hotlines.
  • Any tables that are not occupied by the start of the third race will be allocated to walk-in Members according to the sequence of their registrations.
No-Show
  • A reservation card showing your name and membership number will be placed on your reserved table. You, your spouse or child(ren) aged 18-21 who opted for racecourse signing right, must sign the card to confirm your attendance. The signature should be identical to the one kept in the Club's records. The signatures will be verified to check for any misuses.
  • Reserved table is to be used by the Owner who has been allocated the table, which is non-transferrable.
  • Reserved tables that are not occupied by the start of the third race will be allocated to walk-in Members according to the sequence of their registrations.
  • A no-show charge, equivalent to the minimum catering charge per table, will be debited to your membership account should you:
    • cancel your reservation after the cancellation cut-off time
    • fail to take up your table by the start of the third race
    • fail to return the daily car park label after the cancellation of the reservation
No Smoking Arrangement
  • The Smoking (Public Health) Ordinance (cap.371) was introduced from 1 January 2007. All indoor areas within the Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses are designated no smoking areas (including electronic cigarette). These areas include boxes, restaurants, betting lounges and halls, toilets, lift lobbies, staircases and escalators.
  • Smoking (including electronic cigarette) is permitted in the open areas such as forecourts, Racecourse MTR concourse, balconies/terraces. However, the following areas are exceptions:
    • Balcony near the entrance of MB7 Members Box 7/F (Winning Post), Members Stand II, Happy Valley Racecourse
    • Designated balcony at Loges, Members Stand II, Happy Valley Racecourse
    • Designated balcony at 6/F and 7/F, Members Stand I, Happy Valley Racecourse
    • Designated balcony at Loges, Grandstand I, Sha Tin Racecourse

  • Registered children under 18 for Fun Day have to be accompanied by adults to enter the Racecourse through Sha Tin Clubhouse
