We are pleased to inform Members that further to the latest government announcement, some of our Clubhouse facilities was reopened and dine-in restrictions was relaxed as of Thursday, 18 February with the implementation of additional anti-epidemic measures.

We are pleased to inform Members that the Mobile App has been further enhanced with two additional features which as of today.

Further to the Notice on the reopening details of our Clubhouse facilities, the setting for table reservation via the Members’ Mobile App has been updated to a maximum of 4 persons per table. Members are advised to close the App and open it again to apply the new setting.

Members are reminded of Section 2 (1) of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance concerning the giving or acceptance of gifts, rewards, cash tips or other advantages. Unless given or accepted with the approval of the Club, the gift could give rise to criminal or disciplinary proceedings against the Member or Club employee.

In respect of the government’s latest social distancing directives issued on Monday, 4 January, the current restrictions will be extended until Wednesday, 20 January 2021 (inclusive).

In accordance to the government announcement on tightening the compulsory quarantine requirements for people arriving in Hong Kong, the Health Declaration Form has been revised. Members who have just returned to Hong Kong are reminded to observe the new quarantine requirements and those who have been in close contact with any person currently subject to a quarantine order issued by the government shall not visit the Club premises.

In respect of the government’s latest social distancing directives issued on Monday, 21 December, the current restrictions will be extended until Wednesday, 6 January 2021. Members who have made reservations for dinner during this period will be contacted by our restaurant teams for alternative arrangements.

We are delighted to inform Members the Members Mobile App is now officially launched and is available in the app stores for download as of today.

We are pleased to inform Members that you may invite other Members as guests in addition to family members at ALL Clubhouses and Moon Koon restaurant at Happy Valley Racecourse with effect from Thursday, 17 December.

The Club would like to clarify that no patients tested positive for COVID-19 have ever visited nor worked at Oi Suen in Sha Tin Clubhouse.

Pursuant to the latest government announcement issued on Tuesday, 8 December, all dine-in services at the Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse will only provide take-away services after 6pm (last order at 8:30pm) and all indoor and outdoor sporting facilities at the Clubhouses will be closed from Thursday, 10 December to Wednesday, 23 December.

As the pandemic situation continues to escalate, the Club is stepping up vigilance and has revised the Declaration Form which, among other things, requires non-member guests to provide more details to ensure better traceability in the event of any reported cases on Club premises.

In view of the increasing COVID-19 threat with the high number of local transmissions, the Club will be implementing a staggered work schedule for our staff at the Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse non-race day dining outlets. Such an arrangement is necessary to mitigate against the risks of cross-infection in the event there are confirmed staff or Member cases.

In light of the significant increase in positive COVID-19 cases which have included some of our Members, Management has undertaken a further risk assessment to protect the health of our Members and employees and as a result we have had to make some changes to the current operations of our Clubhouses.

In respect of the government’s latest directives on COVID-19 social distancing measures.

The COVID-19 pandemic situation is escalating significantly with the rapid increase in number of reported cases in the past few days.

In consideration of the latest development of the COVID-19 pandemic situation which has seen a sudden increase in the number of cases, the Club will be taking further precautionary measures as follows with effect from Sunday, 22 November.

Pursuant to previous communication in the September badges regarding to the construction of the new car park in Sha Tin Racecourse, Members are kindly reminded that on racedays the Club will encourage the increased use of Exit 12C from the northbound carriageway of Tolo Highway, which is signed as ‘Penfold Park’. Together with raceday changes to the internal traffic circulation, this arrangement is designed to balance the travel distances between the two Racecourse entrances, providing easier access to the Grandstand II Car Park and the Penfold CarPark in order to reduce raceday congestion at Highway Exit 3.

The Club was notified by a catering employee working in the Racing Club in late night on 6 August that she was preliminarily tested positive for COVID-19. The Club was informed yesterday morning that the concerned staff was officially confirmed infected by Centre for Health Protection.

We are pleased to inform Members that the weekend operating hours at the following restaurants will be extended for the benefit of Members in consideration of the strong demand during this period.

Further to the latest government announcement earlier today, we are pleased to resume our daytime dine-in services at the Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse as follows:

In respect of the latest government announcement issued on Monday, 27 July, we will suspend all dine-in services at the Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse and only provide take-away services with effect from Wednesday, 29 July until further notice.

In consideration of the increasing COVID-19 threat, the Club will be implementing a staggered work schedule for our staff working at the Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse non-race day outlets. Such an arrangement is necessary to mitigate against the risks of cross-infection in the event there are confirmed staff or Member cases.

A range of new services and technology enhancements will be introduced in the coming months, including SMS and email confirmation for outlet bookings, dining e-receipts and more. To allow for more timely communications with Members and to be friendly to our environment, digital channels (including email and our website) will increasingly be used as the preferred means of communication.

We are pleased to announce that an e-Declaration Form will be launched on Monday, 20 July. Members may submit the Health Declaration Form online via https://cc.hkjc.com/ClubhouseForm prior to visits to the Clubhouses and Racecourse non-raceday restaurants.

Further to the Government's latest announcement issued last night, the Club will implement the following tightened measures at all Clubhouses and Happy Valley Racecourse non-race day dining outlets with effect from Wednesday, 15 July until further notice:

As a follow up to our notice issued yesterday, we would like to apprise Members on further details of the concerned Member’s movements during his visits on 3 and 6 July. As of this afternoon, we have not received any other reported Member or staff case.

Pursuant to the latest announcement from the Government, we are pleased to inform Members the following measures will be further relaxed with effect from tomorrow, Friday, 19 June:

Further to the recent notification to Members regarding the construction works for the new car park building near Sha Tin Clubhouse, please be aware that from 22 June 2020 to September 2020, extensive road works will be carried out at driveways leading to the Clubhouse car parks. Partial parking spaces will be blocked in phases and the traffic around Clubhouse will be diverted intermittently. Please follow the road signs and guidance from the traffic wardens.

We are pleased to inform Members about the re-opening of more facilities at our Clubhouses further to the latest government announcement.

The Club has implemented stringent precautionary measures for the protection of its Members, customers and employees at the Racecourses and Clubhouses since the COVID-19 outbreak in late January.

Following the Government’s latest announcement to introduce further measures aiming to promote social distancing and prevent viral transmission by close contact, the Club will be taking further precautionary measures with effect from tomorrow, Wednesday, 25 March as follows...

We would like to further explain the Notice issued yesterday (18 March) requiring Members and guests entering the Clubhouses and Racecourses to sign a Heath Declaration Form.

The outbreak of COVID-19 is now reaching an alarming level globally. With the continuous increase in imported infection cases and in line with the Government’s latest health warnings, the Clubhouses and Racecourses WILL NOT admit any Member, his/her family members or guests who have been outside HK for any period of time in the last 14 days.

Hong Kong as a community as well as the Club is going through a very challenging period with the outbreak of COVID-19. Always placing the safety of our Members, guests and staff as the highest priority, the Club has taken the lead in implementing vigilant hygiene and preventive measures since the onset of the outbreak in January.

Further to our notice yesterday concerning a second Member who tested positive for COVID-19, we have gathered the necessary details of his movement on 23 February based on his utilization and CCTV records, which were further verified by him.

The Club has been made aware of the announcement by the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) late last night that a Club Member has been tested positive for COVID-19. Based on the information of CHP, the Member attended his daughter’s wedding banquet on 22 February where his sister, a confirmed case as disclosed earlier, was also present. He was sent to the quarantine center as a close contact.

The Club has been closely monitoring the evolving situation of COVID-19 in Hong Kong, noting the increase in local cases. Giving consideration to the Government’s continued measure in closing pools, indoor sporting and shower facilities to further prevent the spread of the virus, the Club will be closing the following facilities from 12 noon, Saturday, 29 February to 10 March (inclusive)...
