Quick Guide to RFID Tag and Parking Label Installation
Why do I need to pre-register my vehicle(s)?
To enhance Members’ parking experience, RFID technology will be phased in at all car parks on Club premises in 2020. You must pre-register the licence plate number(s) of the vehicle(s) in order to drive in and out of the car parks. A set of a new parking label and an RFID tag will be assigned to each registered vehicle.
How many vehicles can I register? Can I pay to register additional vehicles?
Each Membership account can register up to three vehicles and only one vehicle may be parked at any Club premises at one time.
Is there any fee for registration? What is the fee charged if I need to update my licence plate number?
Registration is free of charge. There is no fee imposed for the first update of your licence plate number registered for each RFID car park label within any one racing season. For each subsequent update within the same season, an administration fee of HK$150 will be levied.
I have purchased a new vehicle with a new number plate. What should I do?
Please update us by completing and returning the Licence Plate Number Registration Form. For assistance, Members may call 1812 or visit the Members Services Centre at Jockey Club Headquarters.
What will I receive upon the completion of my registration?
You will receive one set of new parking label and RFID tag for each registered vehicle. Each set is uniquely assigned.
How long are the new car park labels valid for?
The new parking label is more durable and meant to last for around 5 years; hence, it minimizes the inconvenience of having to replace it every season. Prior to expiring, you will be notified and will receive a new one.
My family member is not a Supplementary Cardholder. Can I register his/her vehicle?
There are no restrictions placed on the ownership of the three vehicles to be registered. For the first RFID car park label, only registration of the vehicle licence plate number is required. For each of the second and third RFID car park labels, Members only need to register the vehicle licence plate number, and declare the name of the vehicle owner and his/her/its relationship to the Principal Member.
My Membership category has changed. Do I need to submit another registration form?
No, you do not need to submit another registration form when your Membership category changes. We shall update your record in our system accordingly.
I have joined the BRCC Concession Scheme. Will I receive a separate parking label for BRCC?
No, no separate parking label will be issued to Members who have joined the BRCC Concession Scheme. Instead, a holographic sticker will be provided to you. Please affix it onto the parking label according to the provided instructions.
I am going to discontinue my BRCC Concession Scheme starting from next month. Do I need to replace my parking label?

I do not drive or own any vehicle and rely on my children and friends, none of whom are Members, to take me to the clubhouse. Can their cars continue to access the clubhouse car parks?

I own more than three vehicles. Can I register additional vehicles beyond the three vehicles permitted?
