Quick Guide to RFID Tag and Parking Label Installation
  1. Why do I need to pre-register my vehicle(s)?

To enhance Members’ parking experience, RFID technology was implemented at all car parks on Club premises in 2020. You must pre-register the licence plate number(s) of the vehicle(s) in order to drive in and out of the car parks. A set of parking label and RFID tag will be assigned to each registered vehicle.

  2. How many vehicles can I register? Can I pay to register additional vehicles?

Each Membership account can register up to three vehicles and only one vehicle may be parked at any Club premises at one time.

  3. Is there any fee for registration? What is the fee charged if I need to update my licence plate number?

Registration is free of charge. There is no fee imposed for the first update of your licence plate number registered for each RFID car park label within any one racing season. For each subsequent update within the same season, an administration fee of HK$150 will be levied.

  4. I have purchased a new vehicle with a new number plate. What should I do?

Please update us by completing and returning the Licence Plate Number Registration/Update Form, which you may download from Members website <here> or Members App. For assistance, Members may call 1812 (9:00 am – 6:00 pm daily) or write to us at membership@hkjc.org.hk.  Member may continue to use the same set of RFID car park label after the new Licence Plate Number is updated by the Club.

  5. What will I receive upon the completion of my registration?

You will receive one set of new parking label and RFID tag for each registered vehicle. Each set is uniquely assigned. You may select collection of the RFID car park label set at the Clubhouses, Members Services Centre or delivery by registered post.

  6. How long are the new car park labels valid for?

The new parking label is more durable and meant to last for around 5 years; hence, it minimizes the inconvenience of having to replace it every season. Prior to expiring, you will be notified and will receive a new one.

  7. My family member is not a Supplementary Cardholder. Can I register his/her vehicle?

There are no restrictions placed on the ownership of the three vehicles to be registered. For each of the RFID car park label, Members need to register the vehicle licence plate number, and declare the name of the vehicle owner and his/her/its relationship to the Principal Member.

  8. My Membership category has changed. Do I need to submit another registration form?

No, you do not need to submit any registration form when your Membership category changes and the change will be updated in our system accordingly. Please retain your RFID tag and we will send you a new car park label to replace the outdated one.

  9. I have joined the BRCC Concession Scheme. Will I receive a separate parking label for BRCC?

No, no separate parking label will be issued to Members who have joined the BRCC Concession Scheme. Instead, a holographic sticker will be provided to you. Please affix it onto the parking label according to the provided instructions.

  10. I am going to discontinue my BRCC Concession Scheme starting from next month. Do I need to replace my parking label?

No, you do not need to replace your parking label. We shall update your record in our system accordingly. Please remove your holographic sticker accordingly.
